My hydroponic tomatoes have a dark green top and a lighter green middle and bottom. The plant looks great. Please advise.

Sounds like your tomatoes are beginning to ripen! Dark green shoulders indicates the fruit is maturing. They can be picked and left to ripen at room temperature, or left on the vine to turn red. Sometimes, at the end of the season, I harvest my outdoor grown tomatoes - the ones with the dark green shoulders - and wrap each one in newspaper. I leave them in the garage where it's cool and bring them indoors a week or so before I want to use them. They turn red and finish ripening in the nice warm house. Your tomatoes are just about ready to turn red. Enjoy!
