The Q&A Archives: planting a hydrangea plant

Question: Hi-
We would like to buy and plant a hydrangea bush - is the Fall a good time to do it or would it be better to wait until Spring?

Answer: Either spring or fall are good seasons for planting. Those seasons are usually cool, with abundant rainfall, which will help the roots become established quickly. Now is a great time to plant hydrangeas.
