I have a Lavatera and heard it is biennial. This will be it's fourth year. Should I expect flowers? Are Lavatera ever considered perennial bushes?

Lavatera, the Tree Mallow, is an evergreen shrub, growing 6-8 feet high and producing 2-3 inch wide flowers from April to August. There is an annual (Lavatera trimestris) that grows quickly (3-6 feet) and flowers July-September. Your Lavatera will need pruning to keep it in shape, and you can expect it to flower year after year.
