I over watered and drained my tropical hibiscus. What should I feed it and how often?

Making sure the soil drains quickly, and watering only when the top inch of soil is dry should help the roots of your hibiscus remain healthy. Hibiscus blooms when temperatures and light intensity is high so don't be surprised if your plant fails to bloom indoors this winter - unless you supplement natural light with fluorescent lights. When the plant is blooming you can feed with a half-strength dilution of liquid fertilizer (such as Miracle-Grow, Peter's or Shultz's), every 2-3 weeks. When not in bloom, feed every 4-6 weeks.

Best wishes with your hibiscus.
