Tomatillo is a husk tomato (Physalis ixocarpa). It's often used in chili rellenos, salsa verde, or other sauces or dips. Tomatillos need the same culture as tomatoes; long, warm growing season and full sunshine. The fruit is covered by a papery husk that turns brown when the tomatillo is mature and ready to harvest.
