The Q&A Archives: Winter Flowers

Question: We are form Chicago, live in Scottsdale from January thru April. We are looking for plants that will flower during this time. Annual and Perennial. HELP!

Answer: There are two growing seasons in Scottsdale: from mid February until the end of May, and from September to mid November. January is the only winter month. There are many plants you can grow. Since you're new to the area, you might find the following publication from Arizona State University helpful:
