HOW MANY POUNDS OF ST. AUGUSTINE GRASS SEED WOULD I NEED TO HAVE FOR A NEW LAWN OF 2500 SQUARE FEET?

St. Augustine lawns are usually started using sod or plugs rather than seed, but it would take about a half a pound of seed per thousand square feet. The best time of year to seed this particular type of grass is late spring -- it is a warm season grower and does not grow much if at all during the cooler part of the year.
