I just moved into a house about two months ago. There are some trees planted 1. Crape Myrtle Muscogee 2. Jack Frost Ligustrum Trees 3. Some Holly Trees-don't know the exact name of them and 4. Nandina in the front of my yard. My question is how do I take care of them during the cold weather and do I need to water them during this cold weather?

Landscape trees and shrubs appreciate being watered every 7-10 days during the winter months. If you don't get natural rainfall, be sure to water them deeply about every week. This will keep the roots hydrated and the trees will be ready to grow in the springtime.

Best wishes with your landscape!
