The Q&A Archives: How do you store bulbs that need to be dug up if you don't have a basement?

Question: I live in VT. I do not have a basement. How can I store my gladiolas and elephant ear bulbs? What will I need?

Answer: The important thing is to store your bulbs in a cool, dark place. So, try to find a corner in a closet (preferrably near the floor, not on a top shelf); anywhere that remains above freezing but is cool and dark.

Best wishes with your garden!
