I planted Azaleas this past summer and they got all spindley and leggy. They look like they are dying. Can I prune them back? And if so, how far down? I live in Old Town Florida which is across the state from Gainsville Florida. Thank you in advance for your help. |
Azaleas bloom in the spring so if you prune them back now, you'll get new growth but you won't get any flowers. I'd suggest waiting until after they bloom then prune them back to promote a bushy growth habit. |
