I live in north central Florida, zone 8b. When and how do I transplant hybrid tea roses. Thank you. |
Louise, Roses can be transplanted most successfully during the fall and winter seasons. Dig the plants getting some roots in soil and move them to their new location, setting them at the same depth they were previously growing. Then water the plants in well. When digging up the plants it is more important to get a wider root ball than a deep root ball. |
