| There are two types of hibiscus; tropical and hardy. Hardy hibiscus will survive outdoors in your climate. In the spring, prune back the tops and you should see healthy new growth emerge. Tropical hibiscus has glossy leaves and is quite tender. It needs to be overwintered indoors. |
