Knock Out Roses are some of the easiest care ground covers around. They can be pruned back to about 12" in the winter, and then periodically pruned throughout the growing season if they seem to be growing out of control. I simply prune out any errant canes as they appear to keep the entire area looking neat and clean. Aside from occasional feeding (use a 3-1-2 ratio of nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium), your Knock Out Roses should thrive with minimal care.

Enjoy!
