| So two years ago my dad pruned the two Cherry tree we have. Apparently he pruned them way to much because this last summer they did not produce any fruit. What can I do this year so that they will produce fruit? |
| It may take 3 years for your cherry trees to recover from the pruning and produce new flowering shoots. Fruiting takes place on shoots which are 12-15" long. As soon as new growth reaches this length, they should produce flower clusters about 6" in from the tip of the shoot. I'm afraid patience is the only thing that will help your trees bear again. |
