We have a semi-dwarf North Star Cherry that says it is sef-sterile. What is the best 2nd tree to plant for cross pollination? |
I have checked several references and they all refer to the cherry Northstar (or sometimes listed as North Star)as being self fertile, meaning pollination should occur fine with just the one tree you have. If your tree is not bearing well it could be due to other problems such as weather, immaturity, or too little direct sun for example. |
