Hello Cathy, I planted some Majesty Palms about 6' tall about 2 months ago in a southern exposure part of my yard. I have put in Vigoro fertilizer spikes (2) for each tree about a foot away from the base. I water them thoroughly once a week but i'm still having a problem with browning fronds. I was told that these palms need a lot of water, how much is enough? Any assitance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, Tom

It's true, Majesty palms require consistently moist soil. Instead of watering once a week, water as often as necessary to keep the soil from drying out. This might be 2-3 times a week during the hot weather. Hope this information helps!
