Here in Grapeland,TX., our soil is very sandy. We have a lovely patch of stickers mixed in with the St. Augustine in the back yard we would like to see gone!We were told the previous ower had his garden in this space. Also in this area we have oxalice (I'd like it to stay) and some bulbs, we're not sure what kind (we have recently moved here) What is the best type of weed and feed for our situation? Also, this past fall and winter, we have had a bumper crop of gophers, moles and voles that we would like to have gone as well, any suggestons? Thank You, Drue Cochran |
Drue, I apologize for this delayed reply to your gardening question and hope it is still helpful to you. To prevent grassburs apply a product with pendimethalin or benefin as soon as possible. The following web site provides lots more info on controlling these grassy weeds in turf: http://aggie-horticulture.tamu... Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season.
