I recently repotted a Miami Supreme Gardenia into a larger pot . I fed and watered it when I repotted it, but it is getting yellow leaves that are falling off the bush. What can I do?

Gail,

I apologize for this delayed reply to your gardening question and hope it is still helpful to you.

The yellow, falling leaves are due to stress and possibly some root damage in the transplanting process. Keep the soil moist but not soggy wet and provide the plant a bright location but not too much hot late day sun. It should be fine and resume new growth in time.

Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon!
