I planted 4 new rose bushes three weeks ago. One bush is already sprouting new leaves, two of the bushes still have slightly green canes but no new leaves and the fourth bush looks dried out almost dead. Is there anything that I should be worried about with the three rose bushes ?

I think for this time of the year, your new rose bushes are behaving normally. Eventually they should all catch up in terms of new growth. Their growth is related to the weather and as soon as they wake up from their dormancy, they should put on lots of new growth. The one that doesn't show any signs of life may simply need some really warm weather to make it perk up. Be sure that they are well hydrated. Water deeply once each week unless natural rainfall is abundant. I hope they bloom their little heads off for you this summer!

Best wishes with your new roses!
