I live in the Baton Rouge, La. area. I had some weeds growing on my lawn. I pulled the weeds with a shovel thereby creating holes in some areas of my lawn. I do have a tiller and was considering lightly tilling the areas and the planting some centipede sod in the areas. Is This the best way to repair the areas. Thanks

Huey,

Keep in mind that while you can either sod or seed, sodding gives faster results. Either way keep the area that is seeded or sodded moist so the grass has the best opportunity to become well established quickly before the heat of summer arrives.
