Banana trees will grow outdoors in full sun, in sandy, well draining soil in your town. Try to plant them where they will be protected from frost during the winter months unless you're willing to cover them during cold spells. Plant them now, in spring and water them regularly (they take lots of water during the growing season). Best wishes with your banana trees!
