I have a small container garden on my deck (no other place to plant a garden!) and the squirrels like to dig around in my pots (we live behind woods). Last year it was my pepper plants, green onions, and Rosemary. The year before it was my tomato plants. Their digging have ruined my garden! Any suggestions to keep them away and out of my containers?

I wish there were an easy answer to your question. Gardener's everywhere are experiencing the same problems and there simply is no one solution that works for everyone. You can try deterrents such as Ropel in your garden, or you can cover the entire container and plants with birdnetting to keep them from digging and munching your plants. Not a very pretty solution but it might be temporary. Others have reported that once the critter cannot get to the plants they move on to greener pastures. Let's hope they do the same for you!
