| Spring is the best time to plant new grapevines. Yours will grow along a fence but you'll need to do a lot of pruning to keep them from overtaking the yard. Grapes produce fruit on 2-3 year old spurs so it will take at least 3 years before your plant produces fruiting wood. It will be worth the wait, though. Enjoy! |
