Now that your plants have finished blooming, cut away the spent flowers and flower stalks but leave the foliage alone. The leaves will die down and when they do you can remove the bulbs from the pot, brush off any clinging potting soil and pull off the dead leaves. Place them in a mesh bag or paper bag and store them in a cool, dry place (65-70 degrees would be ideal). In early September place the bag in the refrigerator to chill the bulbs. In 2-3 months you can remove them from the fridge and repot them in fresh potting soil. They should produce roots and then begin to sprout new leaves and flowers. Enjoy!
