Practically any plant you'd like to grow will grow well in a container. Just be sure to select a container with lots of drainage holes so the potting soil drains quickly and make sure it is large enough to provide ample room for the root system. As the plant grows and the roots become crowded, you can simply repot in a slightly larger pot. Hibiscus will grow happily in a container and will need to be repotted as it grows, probably about every 2-3 years.

Best wishes with your container garden!
