Answer: Yes, what you describe makes sense, but I don't know of a source for the database. You may have to make your own, or you might want to contact local Master Gardeners. They may have already put something like that together. Here's a website with lots of resource information from the Cooperative Extension office. If it doesnt' contain the info you seek, you might try contacting your local Cooperative Extension office, which will put you in touch with local Master Gardeners.
