| Cindy, There are many plants to choose from including shrubs, perennial flowers, annual flowers, ornamental grasses, etc. A few that I think would be great for sunny to part sun areas include semi dwarf crape myrtles, various Salvias such as Salvia 'Mystic Spires', dwarf yaupon, and disease resistant roses such as Knock Out and Belinda's Dream.
