Hydrangeas grow best with morning sun and afternoon shade. If they receive too much afternoon sun they will wilt (however, they will perk up overnight and look fine in the morning). Find a spot with a few hours of morning sunshine and rich, well draining soil, and your hydrangea will be happy. Expect a mature size of about 6' tall and wide. You can prune to keep it smaller. Enjoy!
