Is papyrus grass a perennial? We planted some last year and it did great and we are hoping it will come back. We aren't seeing any green right now. |
Your papyrus grass (Cyperus papyrus) is considered a perennial, hardy to about 20F, as long as it is in well draining soils. If yours froze down to ground level, it may return later this spring. If not, and you need to replace it, be sure that the soil drains well during the winter months (so the roots don't suffocate). Hope your plant springs to life soon! |
