What does this plant need to thrive? Mine just hangs in there. Has some brown tips or leaves. I have it both in a pot on my entrance porch and in the garden. Have had it for about a year now.

Curculigo is also known as palm orchid or palm grass. You didn't include where you are gardening but here are the basics of what this plant likes for growing conditions: It takes shade to morning sun in USDA zones 9-10. Brown tips may be caused by frost damage, sun burn, over-fertilizing (burning roots) or ineffective watering, either too much or too little. They prefer somewhat rich, organic soil with uniform moistness. I'd suggest first determining if your plants are receiving too much sun. Next, adjust watering as needed. Use a layer of mulch to retain consistent moisture. Also, be sure to water deeply with each watering to push salts beyond the root zone. Salt build-up can also cause brown tips. I hope this info helps!
