Hi. I'm looking for an anwser about why my Dwarf magnolia tree won't bloom. I have asked and no one seems to have an answer. My tree is at least 5 years old and it is as tall as the eaves of my home. I feed it twice a year with Miracle Gro Fertilizer stakes and apply coffee grounds to drip line. I get new leaves and height, but still no blooms. Is there anything I can do to promote my tree to bloom?

Diane,

One additional thought is to fertilize the tree with a complete fertilizer that is higher in the middle number, which is phosphorus. Place it in numerous shallow (5" deep) holes throughout the area beneath the branch spread of the tree.
