I have just received my bulbs in the mail from Holland and would like to know if I should wait until Fall to plant them or plant them now. The bulbs are crocuses, daffodils, tulips, and a mixed variety. I am a VERY NEW gardener. Thank you for your help. Lisa

Bulb companies generally ship so the bulbs will arrive at the optimal planting time for your growing zone. I'd go ahead and plant them now, but don't expect them to flower until next spring. Follow the planting directions supplied with your bulbs. Since you're planting them now, you may want to mark the areas where you're planting them so you won't accidentally dig them up later in the summer.

Best wishes with your garden!
