Can give me information regarding the huge second year growth that comes out of the top of the Japanese Aralia. Do you leave the growth there to grow or do you cut it off? |
It sounds as though your Japanese Aralia is quite happy in its new home, hence the volume of new growth. This is a rapidly growing plant under the right conditions so expect it to increase in size by dramatic proportions. You can leave the growth alone unless it is simply too large for the area. If this is the case, trim it back. Best wishes with your garden! |
