The Showy Windflowers, 'Anemone De Caen', produce mixed colors of bright scarlet, blue, white and lavender flowers with black centers and bold markings. They bloom June-August. This plant provides beautiful summer cut flowers or bulb plants that will force well indoors for winter flowering. The cut flowers on individual stems will last for 7 to 10 days. The bulbs will do best in a sunny and warm spot in a pot or directly in the garden. The flower grows 12 inches tall. For winter flowering, plant them in a pot in September. They are hardy in zones 5-8.
