When is the best time to till the rye grass in nothern Ohio? |
Till it under in early spring, as soon as the soil has dried out sufficiently so that it doesn't form big clumps. You can till it when the rye grass is still quite short--or wait until it is taller, chop or mow it down, and till it in then. Just don't wait until the grass forms seed heads--or you'll have a lawn! |
