I finally found out what the ground covering is in my yard. VINCA VINE! My question is how much should a plant. I have not measured the area that I want to cover but it is rather large. Do i plant in the four corners and wait for the vine to met in the middle? All jokes aside what is the best way to plant the vine so that the area is covered in full?

Vinca is a wonderful ground cover. Space the plants about 12" apart so they will grow into one another (if you plant on the corners they are just as likely to creep out of the yard as to meet in the middle). If you plant in a checkerboard pattern, 12" apart, your area will fill in quickly. Good luck with your landscape!
