i have a garden planter in my yard, we had trees removed from the yard and now the roots are starting to die off, causing holes in my yard, and causing the planter i had on pavers to sink, can you tell me what i can do to stop this before someone gets hurt?

About the only thing you can do is excavate the yard and dig out the decaying roots. Otherwise, the soil level will collapse as the roots decompose. Another approach is to have some topsoil handy and fill in the holes as soon as they appear. Wish there were a better solution!
