| Odalys, Rake the area to be sodded to remove any rocks, stick or dead grass, and to scratch the soil surface inch or two to loosen it. Then lay the sod pieces and walk on them to press the sod into contact with the soil. Water with a half inch of irrigation twice daily for the first few days and then once daily for the rest of the first week.
