Question: what bulbs can i plant for spring ones i dont have to plant every year

Answer: Robert,

Among the most dependable naturalizing bulbs for the south are daffodils/narcissus (some naturalize quite well), amaryllis (especially the old southern garden type Hippeastrum johnsonii), Schoolhouse Lilies (also called Oxblood lilies, Rhodophiala bifida), Hardy Gladiolus (Gladiolus byzantinus), Lady Tulip (Tulipa clusiana), Pink Magic Lily (Lycoris squamigera), Red Spider Lily (Lycoris radiata), and Summer Snowflake (Leucojum aestivum).
