Is there anyway to keep rabbits out of your garden besides a fence? Someone told me bone meal would do it but I don't see anything on the package. Thanks

There are commercial animal repellents for rabbits as well as various recipes for homemade sprays based on garlic and/or red pepper; these need to be applied to the plants and reapplied as needed such as after rain. There are some gardeners who report success using predator urines and blood meal as repellents. However, in my sad experience, the most reliable protection is indeed a fence. Bone meal probably won't deter them because they don't associate bone meal with a predator they way they might with blood meal.
