Japanese Maple - Knowledgebase Question

Hi my name is julian, I bought a Japanese Maple from Home Depot , I am getting ready to plant it .

I have prepared the soil with the proper conditioner, the root ball has a cloth bag tied around it do I remove the bag before planting,

Yes, remove the bag before planting your new Japanese Maple. Removing all the packaging will allow the roots to become established in the planting hole. If you didn't remove the burlap bag it would eventually decompose on its own, but it would take time - time that the roots could be using to explore out into the ground and firmly anchor the tree. It's best for the tree if you remove the bag.
