how do you transplant an ice plant? Do you put it in water so it can root or straight into the ground?

Ice plant should be in soil, not in water. These plants prefer soil on the dry side and a small piece will produce roots if set in slightly moist potting soil or garden soil. They're easy to propagate. Enjoy!
