i have a few gerbera daisy plants and when i bought them they had flowers on them. after a while the flowers die and fall off, i keep watering the plant and have it in the sun but no more flowers come. now i know that it's an annual, but is that really it? no more flowers? is there any way that i can enjoy them longer???? |
Gerbera daisies are tender plants, meaning they will not survive your winter weather, so they are labeled annuals in your growing region. However, they are really perennial plants. You can pot yours up and take it indoors over the winter months. After the flowers are spent, cut off the flowering stems and in a few weeks the plants will produce more flowers. They should flower every few weeks all summer long. Enjoy! |
