Answer: Home Depot does not change the names of their roses. Here's what I have on the Arizona Grandiflora Rose:
Class: Modern Cluster Flowered
Hybridizer/Date: Weeks, USA 1975
Parentage: ((Fred HowardXGolden Scepter)x Golden Rapture) x ((Fred HowardXGolden Scepter)x Golden Rapture)
Fragrance: Sweet Strong Fragrance
ARS Color: Orange Blend
Awards: AARS 1975
You're right. The Angela Lansbury Rose was bred in the United States in 1995 by Jerry F. Twomey. It's a large-flowered hybrid tea (not a grandiflora), in a pink blend. It was patented in the USA on Jan. 6, 1998.
While the roses may appear similar, they're not the same plant.
Hope this answers your question!
