what vegetables can you plant in a small garden that can benetfit each other

Tammy,

In general vegetables don't benefit each other. As plants they are in competition for sunlight, water and nutrients. However they can be planted quite close if they are well watered and fed, and if they are getting adequate light (not shading each other). When selecting vining plants choose more bush type varieties or plant them on a fence wire or cattle panel to go vertical and conserve space.
