Dahlia Bulbs - How do I get them to bloom year to year??? Central Florida just nort of Orlando

The key is to choose species that are adapted to your area. We call these "naturalizing bulbs". Other bulbs are "one-shot-wonders" seldom returning to bloom again. For a list of naturalizing bulbs ask your local County Extension Agent's Office or a local botanical garden. Your Extension Office's contact info is:
