I have just purchases 2 hibiscus trees with the bark that twists. Is this tree harmful to pets if chewed on?

My source for information about pets and poisonous plants is the ASPCA website. I didn't find hibiscus on their list of toxic plants, but I encourage you to check the site yourself: www.aspca.org
