I recently purchased a pink flowering dogwood tree. The information tag that comes with the tree states that the average growth size is 15'T and 10'W.
My question is, how close to my house can I plant this tree?

Taking into consideration the mature width of the tree, you'll want to add 3-4' so the branches won't scrape against the house and you'll have enough room between the canopy of the tree and the house to do work - paint, for instance. I'd plant it about 20' away from the house for unobstructed growth and good air circulation for the canopy.

Enjoy your new tree!
