| Bamboo roots can travel quite extensively and the best way to rid your garden of this plant is to throughly dig out all the roots. Second best - use a vegetation killer such as Round Up. There's a waiting period after using Round Up before you can plant your grass so be sure to read the label for detailed instructions. You may have to apply it several times during the season.
