The Q&A Archives: Hanging Baskets

Question: I am looking for ideas for flowering (and preferably fragrant) hanging houseplants that would be appropriate for 2 west-facing windows that will get direct sun for several hours each day, and a north-facing window, which gets good sunlight all day, but never directly.

Answer: There are many plants that have fragrant flowers and will grow well in the conditions you describe. Try ivy leaved geranium, basket begonia, lipstick vine, glory bower, flame violet, lace flower, or primrose jasmine.
